8 inch Lx 200 classic f 6.3 corrector plate

Hello, My 8 inch lx200 corrector plate was recently cleaned by my well
meaning girlfriend with I think optical solution and a lens cloth. It
is very dim now and there is very little contrast. I cannot even get
it to resolve m 57. What can I do, replace or get it treated with
another coating? There really isn't much info on the web. Any
suggestions or ideas are welcome and I thank you for your time.

Send the telescope back to Meade for servicing.
